Why fly home for the holidays when you can Kayak???

Now’s the time of year when I start stalking all the different search sites for travel: Expedia, CheapTickets, etc. It’s a painstaking process that seems to always end with a ticket 1/2 the price becoming available the day after I finally book my ticket. A couple years ago, I found a site that simplified this process. I;m not saying that this has solved all the problems with booking travel, but it definitely has made it less painful.
Kayak.com is a great site that not only uses its own search engine to find you the cheapest flight, but it also utilizes the search engines of all the major vendor sites: Hotwire, Priceline, Expedia, Travelocity, and Airfare.com. 6 engines working for you for the price of 1 click. 9 of 10 times, I buy my ticket from the Kayak.com search (the other 10% being a Virgin, Jet Blue, or Southwest ticket - which are not included on most search sites). Happy Travels.
